Qualifiers through the main draw
The four qualifiers who will make their way into the main draw of the Heineken Open have been decided. Spain’s Daniel Gimeno-Traver will take the first spot after defeating New Zealander, Sebatian Lavie yesterday, while the second qualifier to go through is Lukas Lacko who also won against a New Zealander – Michael Venus. Another Kiwi, Artem Sitak was beaten by the USA’s Donald Young, who will now progress to the main draw. And finally, the USA’s Bradley Klahn overcame countryman, Steve Johnson to take the fourth spot – although following the withdrawal of Gael Monfils, Johnson will also progress to the main draw, playing his first round tonight, against Marcos Baghdatis.
