**Terms and Conditions for the "ASB Classic Ball Kid Experience" Competition**

 

1. **Competition Overview**  

   This competition ("Competition") offers entrants the chance to win a unique opportunity to be a ball kid at the ASB Classic event. The prize is available for sessions taking place from 4 to 7 January 2025 ("Prize"). The Prize includes a $500 SkyCity voucher, courtesy of Barfoot & Thompson ("Promoter") which can be redeemed at Sky City restaurants or hotels.

 

2. **Eligibility**  

   - Entrants must be New Zealand residents and aged between 11 and 13 years at the time of entry, or if the person has tennis experience and / or has been a ball kid before they may be aged up to, not including, 18 years.

   - Employees, contractors, and immediate family members of Barfoot & Thompson or associated companies are not eligible to enter.

 

3. **Entry Requirements**  

   - Entrants must submit an entry from the ASB Classic website or social media platform as instructed.

   - Only one entry per person is allowed. Multiple entries from the same individual may result in disqualification.

   - Entries must be received between Friday 22 November and 6 December ("Promotional Period").

 

4. **Selection of Winner**  

   - One winner will be selected at random from all valid entries received during the Promotional Period.

   - The winner will be notified by Email/Direct Message within [48 hours] after the end of the Promotional Period.

   - The winner must respond within [48 hours] to claim the Prize. If the winner does not respond within this time, the Prize may be forfeited, and a new winner selected.

 

5. **Prize Details**  

   - The Prize includes:

     - The opportunity to be a ball kid at the ASB Classic from 4 to 7 January 2025.

     - A $500 SkyCity voucher.

   - All other expenses, including transportation to and from the event, meals, and any additional costs, are the responsibility of the winner.

 

6. **Conditions of Prize**  

   - The winner must be available on the specified dates (4 to 7 January 2025) and attend the event as required.

   - The role of a ball kid includes physical activity; the winner must be in suitable health and capable of performing these duties.

   - The $500 SkyCity voucher is subject to SkyCity's own terms and conditions, and it is non-transferable, non-exchangeable, and cannot be redeemed for cash.

 

7. **Publicity**  

   By entering, the winner agrees to participate in promotional activities relating to the Competition, including the use of their name, photo, and likeness for marketing purposes by Barfoot & Thompson and the ASB Classic, without additional compensation.

 

8. **General Terms**  

   - The Promoter reserves the right to verify the eligibility of all entrants and disqualify any entrant who does not comply with these terms and conditions.

   - The Promoter is not responsible for any costs, damages, or losses incurred due to the winner’s participation in the Prize experience.

   - The Promoter reserves the right to amend, suspend, or cancel the Competition if circumstances arise outside of its control.

 

9. **Privacy**  

   Personal information collected during the Competition will be used for the purposes of administering the Competition and as stated in these terms and conditions.

11. Parental or Guardian Consent

  • Entrants under the age of 18 must have the consent and support of their parent or legal guardian to enter the Competition.
  • By accepting the Prize, the winner’s parent or legal guardian must also confirm their agreement to these terms and conditions and provide any additional consent required for the winner to participate as a ball kid, including media and promotional activities.
  • Parents or guardians may be required to accompany the winner to the ASB Classic or arrange suitable transportation, as necessary.
